The Camera Controller Project

The purpose of this project is to develop/share code/designs that allow digital cameras to be controlled by microcontrollers. So far development has been focused on using the Parrallax Basic Stamp, but designs for other microcontrollers are welcomed.

  • Kodak DC3400 (and maybe DC240, DC280 and DC5000)
  • Cameras that use the fujitsu chipset. This design uses the protocol reverse engineered by the photopc project . In theory it should work with a wide range of cameras, but it has only been verified to work with the Olympus C400L, D340, and C840L. Here is a list of cameras that use the fujitsu chipset and protocol.
